On the New Plymouth Club's links on Saturday afternoon the lirst round of a mi-hole eclectic match was played and in conjuction with this the medal round counted for the Standish Cup. T. McQuade 2?., F. S. Johns 2, A. 11, Steeds IJ, I). Hutchen, J. Austin, and E. S. Baylcy 1 each. Players who wish to go to Ilavrcr* on Thursday an; requested to give their names to Mr. A. Bevvley to-day. AVITIORA CLUB. Owing to the unfavorable weather thorn was no match at AVitiora on Saturadly. Oil Thursday a medal match will be played in the morning.. and the pairs best ball bogey match in the afternoon. TARAHUA CLUB. Rain prevented the Tarahua Club licklkig a. match on Saturday.
