THE SUGAR MARKET.
MR. KNOX EXPIJAIXS AGAIN. Sydney, May 28. Mr. Knox, iri a letter to the Press regarding the cable to Java for sugar, declares that one cable was held up for two days, and as a result of the detention the sugar was re-offered at a higher price, anil he 'could only accept because the company was bound by arrangement with the New South Wales Government to provide a supply during the shortage period.
