OUTBREAK AT WAIPAWA. By Telegraph.—Press. Association. Waipawa, May 27. Tlicre was a, disastrous fire early tliis morning, gutting t!ie premises of Williams, a jeweller; Tickers, tobacconist; Bott, stationer; Mo!?, cycle agents, and Parkin, tailor, while considerable damage was done to Hood's, drapers, by water and smoke. The fire litul a strong bold when discovered, and was threatening to sweep the maiil street, but the brigade made a line save. The insurance were:—Carson's buildings, £ll3O in the Royal Ollice; Williams. £225 in the State and £IOO in the Northern: Parkin, £201) in the South British; Bott, £IOO in the Victoria, and £1(!0 in the Queensland: TVfoir, £3OO in the State; Viekcrs. £2OO in the Royal; Hood Bros., £.">oo each in the State, Queensland and Yorkshire.
