NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. Wellington, May 17. A meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association was held to-night, Mr. W. 11. Pollock presiding. Mr. A. M. M'arryatt moved that the suspension imposed on officials and the disqualification incurred by competitors at the Trcntham meeting oil June 13, 1!)14, be lifted. The motion was carried. It was decided to support the Victorian Association in having (Australian cross-country championships in that State postponed for twelve months. . I» reply to a letter from Canterbury it was resolved that to compete in a motor cycle race for a cash prize was an infraction of the amateur status rule. The Wellington Centre wrote asking why C. C. Francis, who lived in Wellington, was allowed to compete for Auckland at a meeting.—lt was decided to icjily that Francis was domiciled in Auckland and was only a relieving officer in Wellington. -\. D. Elliott, school teacher, of Windsor, Oamaru, applied for reinstatement as an amateur. It was resolved to grant this at the end of twelve months, subject to the concurrence of the Cyclin" I nion.
