WINTER SHOW.

Applications for space and schedules are still coming forward, so that prospects for (he forthcoming show are particularly bright. Very keen interest is being taken in the poultry and pigeon classes, especially amongst the bantam fanciers, who will have the New Zealand Championship to compete fov. An energetic committee is at work on this section, and is getting everything in readiness to provide for the comfort and eon- j venienee of exhibitors. A number of special prizes have been donated, and there will also be Mr. S. J. Smith's dial- ■ lenge Cup of £5 5s for the best bird in • the show.
