THE WANGANUI MOT. Per Press Association. Wellington, May 17. Speaking of the outbreak in Wanganui, the Prime Minister stated to a Post reporter that what happened was not the way by which our indignation at the Germans' detestable methods should be shown. Enemy subjects in this country are under strict supervision, and' any indication of sympathy with th«. enemy or hostility to Britain is immediately followed T)y internment at Ronnjs Island or 'lfotuikf. while anv assistance to the enemy by imparting 'information or in any other way will be followed by a court martial and a punishment to fit the oflencv. If more becomes necessary more, will be done. Enemy subjects could not. according to instructions from, the Imperial authorities, bo sent out of New Zealand during the war pcnVf.
