WELLINGTON SALES. i i Wellington, March 14. The first erutching sale of the season was held to-day in conjunction with the skin and hide sales. About 1400 bales of wool were catalogued, half of which was erutchings. There was a good attendance, of buyers and record prices' were realised for erutchings, which inmle 14% d per pound. Fleece wool made ll'/ud to 10-Kid, and lambs to Hid. Following is the range of prices:—Crossbred fine 11 '/ 3 il to 15 l / s i\ per lb, crossbred me- j diiun- coarse 12d to 15% d, pieces and I bellies S'/ud to locks «nd stained ' pieces r>'/ s A to o'/,d; erutchings, superior 13'/.d to 14% d, medium to good lid to ]3'/.(l, seedy and inferior 8d to 10% d, lamW lid to Hid, dead i) : ;.',d to l.'i%d.
