The Alexandra Band from Wanganui played the regiment, to and from the parade ground, in the afternoon the camp was thrown open to visitors, when a large crowd witnessed the ceremony of saluting the ilag. Many exercises were afterwards carried out by the mounted jnen, nil interesting and instructive and showing what a lot of painstaking work has been put iu by ollicers and men, many of whom a.re quite new to the work, especially the musketry.
