Mr Nielsen, the American Trade Commissioner, draws the Government's attention to the trade advantages enjoyed by -\ww Zealand over Australia by the reciprocity agreement with Canada. He states that the absence of an arrangement effectively shuts out New South Wales products, they being unable to compete with New Zealand, as they are paying in many duty than Xew Zealand, one cent, per pound more duty than Now Zealand on meat, and two cents on butter.
