MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
YESTERDAY'S SITTING. The sitting of the Magistrate's Court in -Vew Plymouth Yesterday was presided over by Mr A.'frooke,' S.M. BREACHES OF'THE BY-LAWS. For riding a moter'bicycle on the foot-?, path Walter S. Hawkins was lined ]os. ' and costs, 7s ( and for a similar offence Ronald White and Thomas V. Lord were each lined os and costs, 7s. For riding a bicycle without a light May <!. Treeby was fined 5s and costs, 7s, Dan Keenan, William Jeukinson, and Mrs Lowry were severally fined Ss and costs, 7s, for driving their traps without lights. John Coleman, James Johnston, and Richard Wall were each fined 7s (Id and costs, 7s, for riding their bicycles on the footpath.
OTHER CASES. .' Charged' with'being the .owner of liceinfested sheep offered ior sale M. 11. Barnitt was fined 10s, costs 7s; R. I). Rogers .€2 and 7s costs ; and W. 11. H. Young £2 and 7s costs. Mrs. M. J. Thomson (Mr. A. 11. Johnstone) was fined £1 and costs for failing to clear noxious weeds from her property.
