TE HENUI CHURCH.
PARISHIONERS' MEETING. The annual "meeting of parishoners of Holy Trinity Church, Te Hcuui, was held in the Sunday schoolroom last night, twenty'two parishioners being present. The viear, the Bey. A. H. Colvile, anil Mr. J. Paton attended as representatives of St. Mary's Vestry. The Rev. 11. A. Favcll presided. The annual report deplored the fact that the services of a pricst-in-charge had not been available during the greater part of the year. Archdeacon Evans was thanked for assisting the -church in its difficulty, and the Rev. A. H. Favcll eulogised the good work he had done since Christmas. The committee, had decided to reopen the question of separation from St. Mary's Parish, and form ii separate parochial district. The bal-ance-sheet showed a credit balance of £lB 13s lid, as compared with a deficiency of £24 2s the previous yeaT. Tnanks were expressed to those who had helped the church, particularly the ladies. The report and balance-sheet were hdopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Vicar's warden, Mr. Aroa; people's warden, Mr. H. J. Johnson: committee, Messrs. W. O'Callaglian, li. G. Grover, W. Cutfield, W. J. Armstrong, A. H. Steeds. 11. Grayling, K. Smith, Ingley, Jim.; honorary auditor, Mr. C. F. FooV After some discussion, it was unanimously resolved—"That this meeting of parishioners of Te Henui approves or and accepts the proposals made by the parishioners of St. Mary's with a view to the formation of a separate parochial district of Te Henui and Bell Block, and recommends that the Auckland Diocesan Synod should be asKcd at the next session to amend the present boundaries of St. Mary's Parish, and to establish a new parochial district of Te Henui and Bell Block."
