GERMAN MONEY REFUSED. A SIGNIFICANT ACTION. Received April 2G, 5.30 p.m. fiondon, April 26. Italian brokers are refusing German money. WHOLESALE CONTRABANp GOODS SEIZED. "FURTHER AUSTRIAN CONCESSIONS. Rome, April 25. A vast contraband organisation for revictualling Austria-Hungary and Germany has been discovered at Naples. The authorities seized three million pieces of linen and seven million pairs of armv boots on board an Italian steamer. They had been ordered by a firm Whose head is /the Austrian Consul at Naples. Three hundred barrels containing rubber were also seized. The Messagero states that Austria has made further concessions, though still far from Italy's demands. Italy has replied detailing the minimum concessions required and requesting a reply within a reasonable time. AUSTRIA AND ITALY IRRECONCILABLE. Received April 2(i, 5.30 p.m. London, April 25. The Hague has informed Germany that practically it has abandoned the attempt to reconcile Austria and Italy, the latter's claims being described as preposterous.
