NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. On Saturday last the Vivian Street lawns were closed foi the season. The previous Saturday a break competition was held, Mrs. Fitzherbert winning in the A team and Miss Rennell in the B team. The following is the prize list: A Section Championship.—Mrs. Whetter; runner-up, Mrs. A. Fookes. B Section Championship.—Miss Avery; runner-up, Mrs. Quilliam. A Section Handicap Singles—Mrs. Fitzherbert.
B Section Handicap Singles.—Mrs. Bradbury. Handicap Doubles. —Mrs. Roekol and Mrs. Bullard. A Section * American Tournament.— Mrs. Mills. (Prize presented by Mrs. Hirst.) B Section American Tournament.— Mrs. Bradbury. (Prize presented by Mrs. Fitzherbert.)
