V truck on a goods train coming into Feilding at one o'clock this im.ruing became 'derailed half a, mile from the station, and was drawn on the ballast and sleepers right to the station before turning over. The truck wheel stripped the bolts off the fish plates along the line, and at the bridge over the Makino stieam smashed *UI lite sleepers and decking. The gang turned out, and took several hours to clear the line. The Auckland express was delayed five hours. RESOLUTION OF LABORERS. Auckland, April 23. The Auckland Laborers' Union passed a resolution protesting against the Government's undercutting awards by paying less than the award rate of wages and violating the award hours of work, also by compelling laborers to pay their train faro when taken out of town. They will send copies of the resolution to the Prime Minister, Minister for Labor, and all the other members of the House.
