FIRES.
FATAL OUTBREAK AT WOOLSTON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, April 19. There was a fatal fire at Woolston on Saturday night, when a five-roomed house, occupied by Thomas Jago, was burned to the ground. Jago removed his son, a boy of three, from the building just after the fire started, and then returned to the bouse and fetched out his grandson, a boy of eight. Subsequently, the younger boy was missed, and later his charred remains were found in the debris.
