AN INDISCREET OFFICER. PAYS FOR HIS RASHNESS. Received April 19, 11.45 p.m. Paris, April 19. A lieutenant and his platoon crossed the frontier at Vallees Abbia on Friday. The lieutenant fired his revolver, wounding a sergeant of the Alpine troops when ordered to withdraw. The Italians repulsed the Austrians with the bayonet, wounding and making prisoners of the lieutenant and three Austrians.

Rome reports -state that Baron Abrosi, adviser at the Austrian Embassy, has departed. Of the wheat reserve of ten million quintales desired by the Government eight millions are already stored.
