With a cargo of coal for New Plymouth the Kufow left Newcastle at nooi on Saturday. After discharging here tin Kurow will proceed to Picton and Wei lington. CORINNA LOADS CHEESE. The Corinna loaded some 4500 tons o) cheese here yesterday, and sailed fo] Wellington. On her next trip the Cor inna leaves Oamaru on April 23, Dunwliri April 24, and Timaru April 26, for Lyk telton, Wellington, Nelson, and NawPlymouth. THE POHERUA. The Poherua leaves Wellington fm New Plymouth today, and on arriva here to-morrow will discharge ca"g< from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttel ton, and Wellington. From here tin Poherua will proceed to Westport anc Greymouth. MAPOURIKA DUE THURSDAY. The Mapourika will leave Wellingtoi at 5 p.m. to-morrow for New Plymouth arriving here on Thursday. After i'f charging her cargo the Mapourika wit sail for Westport. ARAWA FOR WAITARA. The Shaw Saville liner Arawa will b< the next Home steamer to load at Wai tara. The Arawa is now discharging a; Australian ports, and Waitara will to the first port of call in New Zealand thence Lyttelton, Gisborne, and Welling ton. She will sail for London on Ma--12. ! NIAGARA MAKES UP TIME.

Advice has been received by the Union Company that the Niagara arrived at Vancouver-at 5 p.m. on Saturday week. Owing to the mishap to' one of her propellors, she left Auckland three days late, but, according to the cable, sir; made up a day and a half on the trip. She was to have left Vancouyer at noon on Wednesday, on her southward jvn, | and is due at Auckland on Sunday, May 2 LONDON TO NEW ZEALAND. According to the latest time-table issued by the New Zealand Shipping Company, the following projected departures are announced from London to New Zea land:—Eemuera. to leave Plymouth on May 1, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin; Otaki, to leave London on May 31 for Auckland, Wellington, and Bluff; Rotorua, to leave Plymouth on June 2fi, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Turakina, to leave Plymouth on July 24, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin; Rimutaka, to leave London on July 31, for Auckland, Wellington, and Bluff; Ruapehu, to leave Plymouth on August I 21, for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. NOTICE TO SHIPMASTERS. The Secretary for Marine telegraphed the Collector of Customs last night asking him to notify the shipmasters that the Napier Bluff light, which will be shown on and after Wednesday nest, will show one and a half seconds' light and eight and a half seconds darkness, instead of .the periods mentioned in the notice to mariners previously issued.
