On Thursday the Stratford Golf .Club opened for the 1915 season with mixed foursomes for prizes kindly Riven by Mr. A. W. Budge, the president of the club. J.hirty players entered, and an early start being made the competition was decided in plenty of time for the whole proceedings to finish before the I evening turned cold. Afternoon tea was given by Mrs. Budge, and in the un- ; avoidable absence of Mr. Budge the I l lnzi ' s " Tl '° presented by the vice-prcsi-j dent, Mr. R. Spence. The winners were Mrs. R 0. Robinson and R. B. Anderson, who, with a handicap of 10, j returned the net score of 70 foi|l2 holes.
