CO-OPERATIVE FREEZING WORKS.

SUPPORT AT AWAKING AND OKAU. Meetings were held at the Awakino Mile 011 Thursday, and at the Okau sale yesterday, in connection with the proposed farmers' co-operative meat freezing works. Mr. A. W. Budge addressed the gathering at each place, and satisfactory support was accorded the project. Messrs Newton King and D. Tweedie were appointed delegates to the central meeting from Awakino, and Messrs Jones and Scott from Okau.
