BOWLING.

The finals of the banner competition will be played on the Inglewood green to-day. At 10 a.m. the match between West End and Pihama will be commenced, and the winners will meet Hawera in the afternoon. A special general meeting of the Now Plymouth' Bowling Club will be held in the pavilion on Thursday, April 22, at 1.45 pm.., for the purpose of altering the rule relating to the date of the annual meeting. It is desirable that clubs' annual meetings shall be held before the annual meetings of the Centre and of the New Zealand Association. Therefore it is proposed to provide that the annual meeting of the New Plymouth Club shall be held in June each year, thus falling into line .with most of the other clubs. 1
