NAVAL RAID EXPECTED. IN THE NORTH SEA. TO SPREAD COMMERCE RAIDERS. Received April 14, 8.15 p.m. ' London, April 14. Regarding the North Sea action, rumors openly acknowledge that a German movement is expected. It is anticipated that the cruiser squadron, including those damaged in the former'fight and since repaired, will rush the British northern protecting guard for the double purpose of scattering more raiders over the seas and diverting a large portion- "of the British fleet, thus rendering attack on the main fleet possible.
NORTH SEA BATTLE. MASSES OF WRECKAGE. London, April 13. There arc rumors from Norway of a North Sea battle. The thundering of guns was heard, several houses had windows smashed by the concussion, and masses of wreckage drifted ashore. ANOTHER "SCRAP OF PAPER." SAFE CONDUCT IGNORED. Received April M, 8.15 p.m. London, April 14. It is stated that the Harpaiyce was actually carrying a safe conduct issued by the German Minister at The Hague when she was sunk. SAFETY OF THE WAYFARER. London, April 13. The Wayfarer has arrived at Queenstown.
