TOKO CLUB. 'The following members had offered and were now assisting to defend the Empire's honor and prestige in Egvpt; Messrs Ceo. Cleary, Manly, Marfe'll, O. Meuli, Eric Smith, John Goldup, Ern Heale, H.I Kilpatrick, and T. Foley. Another' member, Mr. Frank Marfeli, had passed the medical examination and will leave for the Trentham camp when required. The chairman reported, as delegate to the Rugby Union, that a deputation had waited on the union at its annual meeting with reference to the alteration of boundaries, made necessary through the formation of the Out i East Union. Consideration had been deferred until the Stratford Club , could discuss the proposed alteration. He added that the fixing of the whole of the boundaries for the province w.as to lie gone into. The proposed change ( would he: On the west side from Kaliouri bridge of the Patea River to Kobson Road, up the Mangaohu River to Tututawa, bridge, along Cowan Track to East Road, up Makahu River , to the junction of Makahu aiid Akaura Roads, along the railway line to Huiroa, Makuri Road, and from Huiroa to Stanley Road, back Beaconsfield lioad to Kali ouri bridge. After, a long discussion, it hm agreed that the proposed boundaries as submitted be approved, exept that the sections facing on Beaconsfield Road sind Stanley Road as far as the Croydon Road be included in the Stratford area, As the whole of the district boundaries are to lie considered, it was agreed that it be a recommendation to the management committee to include in the Stratford area in the north the district as far as the Maungawiti stream. GENERAL . A sum of £3 3s was voted to the primary schools football fund, and £ls •15s to the Taranaki Rugby Union. It was decided to open the season with a practice match on Victoria Park next Thursday.—Post. THE ASSOCIATION GAME. NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Association Football Club was held on Monday night, Mr. E. A. Elliot presiding over a good attendance. The animal report was as follows: "It is to be regretted that last season cannot be reviewed as altogether satisfactory. Owing to the laxity of other centres and the unsatisfactory working of the Taranaki Association, there was no competition in the, northern division and in consequence the club had to arrange friendly matches when' and whenever it could. (Inly one game was played, that with the' Hawora Club, which resulted in a win for Hawera. Other arrangements fell through, principally because members could not get away to travel. It is to be hoped that the coming season will offer members better sport. Financially, the elub is in a very

sound position. Assets amount to £45, liabilities nil. The receipts for the year wore £27 18s 4d and the expenditure £2/ 10s 5d."
