THE LIVERPOOL FIRE. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright London, April 11. The firemen fought the Liverpool fire for twenty-four hours, and finally flooded the cellars from the adjacent docks. BIG STORE BURNED. Received April 12, 0.15 p.m. Sydney, April 12. Smith and Company's store at Tamworth was burned nut. The damage is estimated at £25,000. END OF A DROUGHT. Received April 12, 9.15 •p.m. Adelaide, April 12. The drought has broken, and 'bountiful rain is falling over practically the whole of the State.
