TARANAKI RUGBY UNION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Taranaki Rugby Union was held ut Stratford last night. In the absence of the president (Mr. F. T. Bellringer) Mr. McLeod was voted to the chain The rule relating to officials of the union was altered to provide for the election of two vice-presidents, and the number of the management committee was increased to eleven to enable them to be ex-officio members of the committee. , It was also decided that the president shall be elected alternately from tlie northern and southern divisions. OFFICERS. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Mr. A. Lee; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. L. Humphries (northern) and W. Lambie (southern) ; honorary secretary, Mr. P. Skoglund (re-elected); honorary treasurer, Mr. R. Masters (re-elected); auditor, Mr. A. Coleman (re-elected); management committee: Southern division, Messrs. I'.. Nalder, W. B. *Fearon ana E. Ryan (unopposed); Northern: Pout nominations were received, as follow: Messrs James McLeod, T. Buchanan, J. A. Hansen and J. Garcia. The three first-named were declared elected. Delegate to the New Zealand Rmrliv Union, to be appointed by the Management Committee. THE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL. Mr. T. Buchanan brought up the question of playing three matches t<j decide the provincial championships and it was decided that it be a recommendation to the Management Committee to play home-and-home matches, the gate to be taken by the union and expenses to be paid by tlie union. In the event of a play-off, it will be decided on neutral ground. The Management Committee will meet on Wednesday next to arrange the Eastern Sub-Union boundary, and also j to revise the boundaries of the southern division districts. The repoiit will be submitted to a special meeting of delegates.
