Received April S, 8.10 p.m. London, April 8. The Bulgarian Ministry has issued a Note, disclaiming responsibility for the invasion of Servia by Bulgarian irregulars, alleging that the uprising was initiated bv the Turks among the Macedonians. The Note requests Servia to take the necessary measures to prevent Servian troops from firing on Bulgarians, and so provoking incidents likely to result in serious consequences. London, April 7. Tlie Times' correspondent at Sofia learns from well-informed Macedonian sources that no Bulgarian soldiers took part in the Serbian raid. During the past three weeks bands organised by a Serbian major ravaged the Bulgarian frontier villages. Tlie inhabitants (led, joined Bulgarian deserters from the Serbian army and attacked Valaudovc.
