TURKEY'S ASPIRATIONS.
TURKISH GRAND VIZIER INTERVIEWED.
Times and Sydney Sun Services London, (April 7. The Associated Press publishes an interview with the Grand Vizier, the first he .'has ever given. He states ho rejected the Entente's offer to guarantee Turkish integrity for thirty years because it would be detrimental'to Turkish sovereignty. His experience of the promises of the Powers was that ho would not promote confidence by entering into relations with England, France and Russia, which had been a factor harmful to t lie country's interest. Hitherto Turkey had heon a pawn in European politics, and she was tired of that. She was now fighting for a chance to exist for her own sake. The claim that she was hound to pass under the sway of Germany was absurd.
