GERMAN SUBMARINES BUSY. TWO MORE VESSELS SUNK. SWEDISH STEAMER SEIZED. London, April 6. A Grimsby trawler was torpedoed in the North Sea, after half an hour's chase. The Cardiff steamer Northlands was torpedoed off Beachy Head. The crew of twenty-four were saved. The Northlands zigzagged but was quickly overhauled. The submarine fired a gun and gave the crew two minutes to quit. The boats fortunately had been swung out in anticipation of the emergency, and were pulling away when the torpedo broke the ship in halves. It 'sank in ten minutes.
Copenhagen, April 6. The Germans seized the Swedish steamer England in the Baltic, laden with maize from South America to Stockholm.
