FROZEN MEAT EXPORT.
RELIEF FOR FREEZING WORKS.
By Telegraph.-—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. ■ Speaking on the question of the Imperial meat supply, Mr. Massey, informed a Post reporter that the Canadian Government, on his representations, has been good enough to allow the Rangitira, due shortly in New Zealand from Montreal, -via Australia, to load outward cargo at Auckland and at a few ports on the way down the coast of New Zealand. The Rangitira is one of the steamers engaged in trade between the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Now Zealand, for which service a subsidy is paid by the Canadian Government. This assent to the Premier's representation Will have the effect of relieving the pressure in tha freezing works at Auckland and other ports.
