The weather was showery and the going heavy for the second day of the A..T.0. autumn meeting. The attendance was large. The stewards investigated fi complaint lodged by the part owner of Carlita, that Bracken did not ride according to instructions in the 'St. Leger. The stewards found that Bracken did his best, and did not go to the front, simply because he could not without, unduly forcing his mount. Moonbria was made favorite for the Cup, but was never prominent, and none fit the fancied division were placed, Scoteli 'Artillery leading from start to finish. Forest Prince created excitement by winning the Steeplechase in the last few yards, creating a record for the race. Results:—
