The Fitzroy Club's teams to p!a.y Stratford at Stratford on Good Friday are as follow:
Brooker, Sole, Allen and Lcaland (s.); Reid, Waldock, Flumtree, Cliivcrs (».); Beliringer, Avery, Higgs, Jackson (s,); Oxcnliain, Healv, Craws'iaw, Hcnnell (s.); McNeill, Walker, Price, Abbott .s.). Teams leave by the mail train. This club sends the following rinks on Easter Monday to Inglewood:—Reid, Hcaly, Higgs, Abbott (s.); Brooker, Avery, Pluuitrce, *{enn©ll (s.); Oxenham, Waldock, Crawshaw, Lealand (s.); Beadle, .§o!c, Price, Allen (s.). Team leaves by 7.40 a.m. train.
The following will represent West I End in the final for the banner at Inglcwood on Good Friday:—Haslam, J. Johnson, F. J. Hill, J. D. Sole; Eaitlett, Oliver. Xewcll, Beal; Jutt, Wood, Lobb, C. X. Johnson. The following rinks have been selected to represent New Plymouth against St. John's (IWanganui) on Saturday morning, commencing at 10 o'clock.— M*Leo3, Marriott, Harrison, A. K. Smart (sk); Binnie, Ewing, Blundell, Hall (sk); Collins, Penn, S. Bundle, Firth (sk); C. Rundle, Phillips, Morey, H. Smart (sk); Hooper, Wood, Luseombe Bary (sk). Manuia will send two or three rinks to play Xew Plymouth on Saturday afternoon, commencing at 2.10. Three rinks have been selected to represent New Plymouth as follow:—Hooper, Phillips, A. K. Smart, Bary (skip); Fraser, Wood, Fookes, H. Smart (skip); Waugh, Jenkinson, S. Rundle, Firth (skip). If two only are required, these will be recast.
On Saturday evening the two visit- i ing teams will be entertained at the New Plymouth Club's pffvilion. j The banner competition has reached the final stages, Hawera, Pihama and West End being the winners of the three sections. These will meet on the Inglcwood green on Friday to play off. Hawera has urawn the bye, so that Pihama and West End will meet in the morning, and the winners of this match will play oil against' Hawera in the afternoon, the victors taking the banner. Mr. A. C. Leslie, of Inglcwood, has been appointed umpire. Tlie following will represent the West End Club in the final for the banner at Inglcwood on Good Friday:—Haslam, J. Johnson, F. J. Hill, J. 0- Sole (skip); Bartlctt. Oliver, Xcwell, Beal (skip); Putt, Wood, Lobb, C. X. Johnson (skip). The champion of champions singles tournament, for which the Westport Coal Company is giving a gold medal, will be played on the Stratford green on Thursday, April S, the champion singles player of each club in the centre being eligible to compete, or in the event of a club not having had a champion singles competition it may select a representative. The names of competitors' must be in the hands of the centre secretary, Mr. 0. X. Firth, by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 0, and the draw will be made bv Messrs. J. D. Sole (West End), A. K. Smnit (New Plymouth) and 0. X. Firth on Wednesday. The conditions of the tournament will depend upon the number of entrants.
