The Tribune publishe- a Rome message stating that a S-.vis-! returned from Vienna reports that the Kaiser, in 4rict»est incognito, visited the Emperor Franz Josef and succeeded in inducing him to cede territory to Italy to ensure her continued neutrality. The Austrian press was enjoined to absolute silence.
