A MAGISTERIAL iyQETOT.

A magisterial inquiry will bo.'Held in Wellington at 2.30 pan. to-morrow regarding the stranding of the Marama off San Francisco on January 29- last. A 'preliminary inquiry was held By the Sydney Navigation Department, who cabled its opinion that there- should be a magisterial inquiry in Xew Zealand. The vessel, is due- at Wellington to-morrow, and the inquiry has been arranged in cortsequeneer of the message from Sydney. The. presiding Magistrate will he Mr.. W. G. Riddcll, and the assessors Captain W,." P. Read,"of Auckland, and Oaplaln C I'. iPost, of the Government steamer Tutanftkai.
