PLANTATIONS DAMAGED.

Suva, March 2* , The hurricane at Vavau from March 17 to 19 was at its height on Friday morning. Considerable damage was done to 'plantations which have been put back a year. No casualties are reported, but a few houses were unroofed. Tlic steamer Atua was held up for two daya. It is believed Haapai and Xukuldfa escaped.
