Hermann was found guilty on three chaises of uttering, and sentenced to three years' imprisonment on each, the sentenies to he concurrent. The Judge, in summing up, said tne. evidence was so strong for forgery that he failed to see how the jury returned the verdict they did on that count. That Hermann was sane at the time of committing the offences he had no douht, and the epileptic fits were the result of anxiety over the magnitude of the offences which he had committed.
