INCREASED PEN AT TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. "Tiinaru, ast Night. At the annual ram fair to-day IO.jO were penned a.s compared with 750 last year. English Leicesters, the former being most in demand. Other classes represented were Romneys. Southdowns, Corriedales, Lincolns, and Shropshire^. The top price of the fair -was 13Jgn-i. for a Border Leicester, the highest price being lOgns. Other sorts brought from 3 to sgns.
