NEW PLYMOUTH. Subject to necessary alterations, mails close at the Chief Post Oflice as under:— For Auckland and north, per steamer Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m., and daily per train at 6.15 a.m. For Wellington and South, daily at G. 15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate offices daily _ at G. 15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.55 p.m. MONDAY, MARCH 22. For Fiji, Samoa, Fannin" Islands, Honolulu, Japan, Canada, United States of America, Central America, West Indies, Mexico, United States of Columbia, licuador, Venezuela, British, Dutch and French Guiana, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per Niagara from Auckland at 6.15 a.m. THURSDAY, MARCH 25. For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon India, Mauritius, Straits Settlements, China, Japan and Phillipine islands, (United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, specially addressed correspondence only via Suez), at 12.20 p.m. FRIDAY, MARCH 20. For Tasmania, at G. 15 a.m. The times for closing mails for places i beyond the Dominion are liable to alteration (earlier or later).
