A fresh shipment of the Melbourne's famous welted and standard screwed boots for men has opened out ex Taiuui. Owing to restrictions by the Imperial l War Office much difficulty was experienced in shipping these goods, but satisfactory arrangements have been made for all future deliveries. As the new goods show a - sligHt advance in price, but not nearly so much as anticipated. To-day's price for these excellent boots is onK 19s fid a pair. Morey's have thought well ahead on your account, and are advertising a very complete range of Autumn gloves in this issue. The importance of correct laundering of linen can hardly be too firmly emphasised. New Plymouth people will b« glad to learn that the Gill Street Steanj Laundry, to be under new management as from the 30th instant, will have ftll its work done under the personal supervision of a laundrvman of several years l experience in England and four yeaHj in Sydney. Mr. Luxton, the new pr<> prietor, is out to develop the business the fullest possible extent.
