The intense earnestness of the preacher drove , every wordhe uttered home to the ' hearts of hi g audience, who listened with rapt, attention throughout. Ihe splendid attendance at both the ZITZ a /l d eVeni J n « Bcrvic « sh <>ws the love for the word of God which <dossesses the Catholics of New Plymouth, and undoubtedly brought joy and consolation to the hearts of £h e devoted, zealous, and self-sacrificing missioners. We hope tiat the wave of enthusiasm aroused will continue unabated to tho .« close of the mission, Sunday, 21st inst.
