AN INCREASE IN REVENUE.

~T!'2 total revenue - this year was mY antl laat J'«ar £10,681,955. . Ihe Minister states that the decrease m Customs revenue was due to the war, and £174,000 of it-happened in January and February. Ho also expects a decrease tins month. He thinks that some of the falling-off in stamp revenue wilMie made up this month. The revenue might, however, recover to some extent in March.
