NEW ZEALAND BRANCH. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association, Christcliurch, Last Night. The annual meeting of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association was concluded at the* Provincial Council Chambers this morning, when the meeting of the Council was held. Dr. McGavin (Wellington) was elected chairman of the Council, and Dr. Giblis (Wellington) was elected honorary general secretary. The Hon. R. Heaton Rhodes (Minister of PublicHealth) was elected an honorary member of the Association. A special vote of thanks was passed to Dr. F. L. Scott (Christchurch), the secretary of the annual meeting. The annual dinner, which was held on Friday night, was very enjoyable and successful, about sixty members being pi'eestit. 1
