■ STATEMENT BY THE PREMIER. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association, Wellington, Last Sight. _ Mr. Massey states that with the arrival at Auckland of the Hornoleii, the ' ast of tile wheat slaps, with 100,000 binliels of wheat, the position ill regis* to wheat and flour must bo regards, as much more favorable than for sonic time past. "It is," lie. added, "interesting to note that 400,000 bushels wind: have arrived in New Zealand during the past few days are worth at least Od a bushel to-day more than when we purchased them, a saving to X.-w^ Zealand, on the lowest calculation, of .£15,000.
