SAWMILL-HAND DROWNED. By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Grcymouth, February 22. Peter Joseph Laini, a siuvniill-hand, aged 20, was drowned in tin; Paroa. Lagoon while lathing after work on Saturday. A verdict of accidental death was ' returned at the inquest. A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE. Pahiatua, Last Night. I , Hamilton, Last Night, j I'rank ITorton,- aged WO, a widower, by 1 occupation a gardener, was found dead , in his room tit a boarding-house this evening. He had complained earlier in ! /.he dm- of feeling unwell, ft is sunposed that he died of heart failure.
