INTERNED STEAMERS. . ON THE WAY TO NEW" ZEALAND. Wellington, Yesterday. According to advice received by the secretary of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, the German steamers Hainim, Apolda, and Birkenfels, formerly interned at Capetown, are on their way to Australia and New Zealand. Consignees who can prove ownership, and who pay certain charges, will bo able to obtain their portions of the cargo. The claim will have to be made in the Commonwealth, and consignees will bo charged onward freight for the. cost of bringing the vessels from .South Africa to Australia. OFFENCES IN CAMP. OFFICERS PROMOTED. Wellington, Last Night. During the week ended February 20th. a number of cases of alleged offences were dealt with by the authorities at Treiitham camp.
