DECISION OF WHEAT BOARD. EXPORT PROHIBITED. NOTHING DEFNITfe A<S TO FLOUR. Received 10, 0.45 p.m. Sydney, February 19. The Wheat Board has decided that no more wheat is to be exported from New South Wales to anywhere. This means that Victoria, Westralia, and South AusAustralia have to purchase from outside sources. As regards flour, it is stated that applications from neighbouring States will he sympathetically dealt with, and it is understood they will be allowed to ob'tain normal supplies at the. stipulated price. Presumably, this also applies to New Zealand, should the Dominion still desire to obtain a supply, but in tlie absence of definite information regard-, ing the exact number of bushels cf wheat available, the Board is apparently not desirous of making a definite statement regarding the quantities and price. Nothing has yet been decided as to ' the payment for. the wheat supplied to Now Zealand. TASMANIA IMPORTS WHEAT. Received 19, 1.5 ip.m. Hobart, February 19. The. Government is purchasing 7000 tons of' Argentina wheat at a landed cost of 8s 3d It is to be sold to the millers at Ss 3d conditionally on their supplying the bakers with flour at not more than .£7 (?) per ton, the latter selling-bread at 4>/ :J d per 21b loaf.
