A SCHOONER LOST.
PROBABLY SUNK BY GERMANS.
By Telegraph.—Per Press Association. Invercargill, February 13. All hope for the safety of the British four-masted schooner Runac, of €OO tons, four months overdue at Bluff from Surprise Island, has bees abandoned. She was commanded by Captain Thomasen, and was due at Bluff in November with guano for the National Mortgage Company. She was loading when the Nurnbrg raided Fanning Island, and was probably sunk.
