DEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS. J Eotorua, February 13. The largest and most representative deputation that ever waited upon any Minister in Rotorua interviewed Mr Herries last night,- when the business men asked that excursion fares to Eotorua be issued by the ordinary express on the Auckland and Thames lines on Saturdays, available for return until th e following Friday- also that excursion tickets be issued on all North Island lines on one day each month, available for a month. Mr. Herries promised that lie would give the proposal, or as nearly a similar scheme as practicable, a reasonable trial.
