HASTINGS SHOPS BURNED. ' b'y Telegii'.vdi.—Per Press Association, Hastings, February 12. Business premises, owned by Kilford ;'.nd \V. H. Kbbett, -and occupied by Tustin, painter, picture framor and dealer, were damaged beyond repair, and tlie stocks ruined by fire last night. The adjoining shop, belonging to the same owners, occupied by Yon Lee, silk mercer and fruiterer, was slightly scorched and the stock damaged by water. The insurances on the buildings were CIOOO in .the Queensland Office, and on the stocks—Tustin £OOO in tlie Guardian Oliice and Moore £SOO in tlie Guardian Office. Moore estimates his loss at £3OO above the insurances.
