A Tauranga special message to the News last night. reported the death at Tauranga hospital yesterday of Arthur Warren, aged twenty-five years, son of -Mr. Cliarles. Warren, of New Plymouth, from typhoid.
The fact that the Rotorua balneologist is the l possessor of a German name lias apparently exercised some of the residents of the Hot Lakes district. The matter was mentioned to the Hop. 11. lloaton-Rhodes yesterday morning. He said that Dr Wohlmann's family had been English for two hundred vears. .He personally was sorry that Dr Woihlmann had been subjected to annoyance, but after this anouncement the doctor would, if the annoyance continued, be ■prepared to take steps to put a stop to the malicious statements being made in regard to him.—Press Association.'
