TARANAKI SHOW.
There is every indication that the entry list for the show to be held on February 24th and 25th will far surpass in numbers those of previous years. Enquiries for schedules are coming, in every day, and it is just a question whether the supply will be equal to the demand, but efforts will be made to supply all applicants. All the schedules have the classes printed in bold type, which is more appreciated by those who already have them in their possession. Additional classes have been added by adopting the various recommendations received from exhibitors and others after the last show. In nearly every case where recommendations have been received tliev have been given effect to, a' fact which will be an extra inducement to exhibitors to swell the entry list.
The prize money is on a very liberal scale, and, as heretofore, every care and attention will be paid to exhibits whether animals or machinery. Every preparation is being made, and both exhibitors and the public may rely on the fixture being'in every respect more advanced tlian former shows, and this is saying a great deal. The general entries close on Saturday , 13th inst. Any information required on any matter connected with the show will gladly be given on application to the secretary, A. L. Humphries, P.O. Box 19, New Plymouth.
