PtIKEKURA PARK DISPLAY. The fireworks display in Pukekura Park to-mcrrow evening promises to be something unusually good to those seeking an evening's entertainment. The Park Board has devoted a great deal of time and energy to making (lie With an evening to lie remembered hv all who patronise the display. It will not be a show merely for " childen, but for anyone who has an eve. for beauty. The beautiful grounds will be lit up !w hundreds of fairy lamps, the sight of whic'h alone will be worth the price of admission. Then, asmin, those who are fond of hearing reallv good vocal music without being cooped up in a hall, will find that pome excellent talent, in the wav of solos and glees, has been selected for the occasion. Tile vocal items w:il bo given before the rockets go pu, so that the effect of music over the water will be enjoyed to advantage.
